A blog following the building of an model railroad in HO scale. The railway is set in the Laurentian Mountains of North-East of Ontario/ North-West Quebec. The place names are taken from those along the Canadian Pacific Railway Temiskaming subdivision that ran from Mattawa Ontario to Angeliers Quebec. The era is shortly after the conversion to diesel. Some steam can still be seen and Shay engines work the logging portions of the road.

An exciting day on the KIP
At long last a picture of the gang. Not a big gang but a very hard working and effective one.
Electrical gang on the left is Gord, Forestry/landscape gang on the right is Colin.
We experimented with a different way to get men to work at the mill and mine.
